Building on the Global Mobility Report issued in 2017, the World Bank has involved the SuM4All Consortium into a work stream called “Global Roadmap of Actions”. It aims, as a substantial contribution to the Talanoa Dialogue, at informing individual countries on relevant sets of policy recommendations and measures to take with the objective of reversing the trend for the transport sector towards five goals: universal access, efficiency, safety, green mobility and gender equity.
In that context, PPMC has been appointed (together with WRI) as co-lead of the Working Group in charge of the “Green mobility” chapter, including all aspects of “Green”, such as pollution, noise, physical activity, for all transport modes. PPMC has been engaged in a very intense collaborative process, leading the “Green WG”. The whole GRA report is to be presented at COP 24 and submitted to a vast consultation process involving countries and business in the months to come, as a major contribution to the Talanoa Dialogue.
