Workshop on Urban Mobility in the next generation of NDCs

EVENT INFORMATION

The urban mobility component of the EUROCLIMA + program of the European Union, the German Technical Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and the French Development Agency (AFD) are pleased to invite you to the workshop, “Urban Mobility in the next generation National Determined Contributions (NDCs).” The workshop will take place on August 20, 2019 in Salvador de Bahia, Brazil.

The workshop is part of the Latin America and Caribbean Climate Week (LACCW) 2019 to be held from August 19 to 23 at the Climate City Stadium (Salvador Hall) Av. Luís Viana – Patamares Salvador – BA, 41301-110 Brazil (https://www.regionalclimateweeks.org).


The workshop will bring together stakeholders and international experts in charge of the implementation of National Urban Mobility Plan (NUMP) projects. It aims to strengthen the contribution of urban mobility to the next generation of the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).


To guarantee the participation of stakeholders in charge of EUROCLIMA + projects, travel and accommodation costs of your delegation will be covered by EUROCLIMA+. Please note that it is necessary for participants to register for LACCW (https://reg.unog.ch/event/29406/registration/) and an entry visa may be required to enter Brazil.
Please kindly coordinate the respective logistics details with the designated AFD or GIZ contact person in your country.
