Participate in the largest consultation ever to collect data about the challenges faced by the African transportation ecosystem regarding climate change!
How can energy and transportation initiatives be linked? How can transportation be made more secure and affordable? How can the power of digital media like smartphones and cloud services be leveraged? What are the unique economic and cultural needs of Africa? These are some of the areas where NGOs, policy-makers, start-ups, researchers, experts and transportation professionals should be heard.
Lead by L’Oreille for the Paris Process on Mobility and Climate (PPMC), the survey seeks inputs on six dimensions of environmental improvement in transportation: leadership, cooperation, infrastructure, capacity building, data collection and local adaptation. More specifically, the survey asks for expert contributions on how to create independent transport authorities in African countries, balanced transportation costs with sustainability wins, and promote regional cooperation.
The conclusions and data collected will be presented at COP23 in Bonn, Germany, in November 2017. Prior to COP23, it will be discussed at Agadir Climate Chance Summit, the official non-state actors meeting in the margin of COP23, Sept. 11-13.
We would greatly appreciate if you could take a few minutes of your time to participate to the survey and share! Link: https://loreille.typeform.com/to/yliIyz
