Global Climate Action Agenda Transport Dialogue Event

The Dialogue will encourage short-medium and long-term transformative action in the transport sector through scaled-up, joint efforts by Parties and non-State actors in support of the sector´s Global Decarbonisation Road Map and Quick-Wins. It will actively link the discussion on action on transport and climate change to the discussion on transport and sustainable development.

Furthermore, the dialogue will position the transport sector to actively contribute to the implementation of key follow-up steps to COP21 decision, such as the global stocktake, planned update of NDCs and the development of low GHG development strategies.

During the dialogue sessions, the moderator will invite the audience to react to the speakers’ contributions and create an interactive dialogue involving all the participants.

The key messages will feed into to the Climate Champions High Level Event on 17th November.
